Meet Dr. Lee

Dr. Shinji Lee is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a graduate of the prestigious New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. Prior to her medical education. Dr. Lee completed her undergraduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She completed training in general surgery and a fellowship in microsurgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School, and her residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

In addition to being an exceptionally trained surgeon, Dr. Lee is also an accomplished artist and sculptor. Her artistic talent and skill shined during her time at Benjamin Cardozo High School, where she graduated with honors. Since then, Dr. Lee has won numerous awards for her art, some of which has been selected to be displayed at the prestigious Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan.

Dr. Lee has treated thousands of men and women from various backgrounds and all walks of life. She has a special interest in Asian aesthetic surgery and is considered to be an expert in the field. In fact, she has published numerous articles on the subject for Korean news publications and has even served as a judge for the Miss Korea New York Beauty Pageant.

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Lee is highly sought out for her expertise in plastic and reconstructive surgery. She has appeared as a plastic surgery expert on several television programs and networks, including TKC TV and KBN TV.

Presently, Dr. Lee is the president and medical director of Plastic Surgery Center at 46, with offices in Manhattan and Flushing, Queens in New York, and in Englewood, New Jersey. She is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). Dr. Lee combines her surgical skill and artistic ability to consistently deliver natural and aesthetic results that her patients can enjoy.
