What to Expect During Your Consultation

The first step towards fuller and more beautiful breasts is to schedule a consultation with Dr. Lee. During your initial meeting, Dr. Lee will evaluate your medical history, as well as examine and measure your breasts. Procedure Details

Breast augmentation is performed at Dr. Lee’s Manhattan office, in a fully accredited onsite operating room under anesthesia, which is administered by a board-certified anesthesiologist.

Dr. Lee will place the breast implants through incisions made on the breast, under the natural breast crease or in the armpit area. The pros and cons of each incision location will be discussed in detail during your pre-operative consultation with Dr. Lee.

Once Dr. Lee has finished placing the implants and making all of the agreed-upon modifications, she will close the incisions using sutures, dress the treatment area with soft bandages and place a surgical bra to protect the breasts while they heal.

Breast Augmentation Recovery

The initial recovery period for breast augmentation lasts one to two weeks, depending on your personal healing progress. Dr. Lee will provide you with a list of instructions to follow during your recovery, including a timeline outlining when it is safe to resume normal activities (e.g., work, exercise).
