Meet Dr. Shinji Lee

Dr. Shinji Lee is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 25 years of experience delivering safe, natural-looking results for patients in New York and New Jersey. Internationally recognized for her expertise, Dr. Lee combines scientific precision with an artist’s touch—an approach shaped by her background as an award-winning sculptor whose work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan.

A graduate of MIT and NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Lee completed advanced training in general surgery, microsurgery, and plastic and reconstructive surgery through prestigious programs including SUNY Downstate and Eastern Virginia Medical School. Today, she leads Plastic Surgery Center 46, with offices in Manhattan, Flushing (Queens), and Englewood (New Jersey).

Dr. Lee is known for her ability to enhance each patient’s unique beauty—whether through surgical procedures like breast augmentation, facelift, or liposuction, or through advanced non-surgical treatments including injectables, lasers, and skin tightening technologies. She is especially sought-after for her work in Asian aesthetic surgery and has contributed to Korean-language media as a subject matter expert and judge for the Miss Korea NY Beauty Pageant.

With thousands of successful cases and appearances on networks such as TKC TV and KBN TV, Dr. Lee remains committed to innovation, safety, and personalized patient care. She is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and continues to push boundaries in the field of cosmetic medicine.
